Major Changes for July

We’ve heard you and we’re changing!

To create an easier Monday posting and reading experience, we’re changing the way we accept submissions and get links to our participants.

Beginning in July, The deadline to participate will be FRIDAY NIGHT at 8pm EST. This will allow us to create and organize the links over the weekend. Sunday evening at 8pm EST, everyone who is posting will receive an email with all the participant links pasted into it. You can copy these into your own post.

REMINDER:
All participants must have their EM live by 8:45am EST. This is one of the main reasons we’re changing how we do things. This way people aren’t trying to figure out what’s live as they post. Please make sure to schedule drafts to go live by 8:45am EST.

So, this month, the links would be due by 8pm EST on Friday, July 10th and the links email would go out 8pm EST on Sunday, July 12th for the July 13th Excerpt Monday.

NEW:
Not writing anything this month, but want to display the links — we’ll add people to the email so they can grab the links for their Monday blog post. Ella has posted a way to pre-draft addresses for blogger. Other ways to post on blogger to be able to have an address ahead of time (which we highly recommend) is to create a Excerpt page you update each month.

Don’t forget, if you want to be added to the 1 week/1 day warning email, please respond to this email with the words “Add to list” in the subject line.
